JOB OPENING:

The Craigville Tabernacle, a seasonal interdenominational Christian community in Centerville, MA, seeks a worship director to organize our services and faith formation activities during the summer. You would work with our committee to craft ten weeks of worship around a theme, recruit guest preachers and musicians for these services, and plan activities to deepen the faith life of our village and retreat center.

We seek a coordinator who is dedicated to a ministry of presence and hospitality with the courage to bridge denominational differences. The position requires a well-rounded leader who is willing to serve as a pastoral presence, maintain a transparent budget, practice a collaborative style of decision-making, and use effective methods of outreach and advertising. We seek a good listener who is willing to respect the deep traditions and differing viewpoints in our community while discerning ways in which the Holy Spirit is calling us to approach our faith with freshness and new possibility. In particular, we hope you can help us expand our ministry to community members who are not connected to the history, practice, or language of the church.

We seek candidates with past experiences in ministries of leadership, but ordination is not required. Ideal candidates will have experience working with small children and elders and finding ways to include them in community life. We seek candidates who have shown consistent commitment to community, Christian discipleship, and prayer. Applicants of any Christian denomination are welcome. If you are interested in applying, send a cover letter and resume to search@craigvilletabernacle. org by November 15.
