Our Family to Family Christmas gift giving project is underway. This year we are sponsoring two small families-a 6 yr. old girl and her grandparents, (the grandma is undergoing chemo and radiation for brain and lung cancer) and an 11 yr. old girl and 16 yr. old boy who are in the care of their aunt. I have Christmas suggestions for all of them and these tickets will be available starting today. Should we have any tickets left over, they will be available on November 30th. There will also be food items requested to help provide meals for a week or so. At this time, I anticipate we will wrap and tag everything on the 14th of December to be delivered to Peebles school that week but please stay tuned for that update. Our church has always been generous in their giving and I have no doubt we will do so again this year. Thank you in advance for your participation in this program. If you have any questions, please call Marsha Burt.

THANKSGIVING DINNER AT CATAUMET UMC: The Cataumet UMC will be holding their annual Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, November 27th starting at 12pm. Volunteers are needed to help out. Please see the November newsletter for more info or call (508) 563-3555

CHRISTMAS DECORATING PARTY: On Sunday, November 30th, everyone is invited to stay and help decorate our church and the gazebo after worship & coffee hour. Please help us prepare our church for the Advent season and also join us for a light lunch. – The Worship Committee

CHRISTMAS MOVIE: What if the world threw you a birthday party and YOU weren’t invited? Hoping you all can watch this wonderful Christmas movie, “The Perfect Gift” with us on Sunday, December 7th after coffee hour (1:00ish). One day a drifter, Jess, comes into town and changes people’s lives forever by teaching them the true meaning of Christmas and that the best gift of all doesn’t come in wrapping. You’ll be glad you came to see it! Young and old alike will enjoy this movie and it’s only 90 minutes long. Following the movie, join us for refreshments!
