The Saints and Singers Chorus is holding its annual potluck dinner and listen-through at 6:30pm on Thursday, September 3, 2015, at Bourne United Methodist Church, to kick off the 2015 Christmas season. The group seeks to spread God’s message of peace and love through song. All singing parts (soprano, alto, tenor, bass) are encouraged to join. Admission to the dinner is free. It’s requested that you bring a food item of your choice for the dinner.

RALLY DAY will be on Sunday, September 13th, at Mid-way Park. We will have our worship service at 11am, followed by a barbecue. Please mark your calendars and plan to join us for this wonderful annual event! Please see the sign up sheet in Crain Hall, or see Connie Soper.

UPPER CAPE CHAPLAINCY “LOBSTER ON THE CANAL” CRUISE: The Upper Cape Chaplaincy invites you to come aboard their “Lobster on the Canal” cruise Sunday, September 13 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., leaving from Onset pier. As you know, this interdenominational/interfaith organization financially supports Falmouth Hospital’s chaplain, as well as chaplains at JML, Royal Megansett Nursing and Retirement Home, Royal Cape Cod Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and Royal Nursing Center. Lobster rolls (or egg salad or chicken salad), chips, and dessert will be included. Tickets for this fund-raiser are $30. CHILI & CONCERT FRIDAY SEPT. 18th at Bourne UMC. Starting at 6:00 pm we will serve Chili and Cornbread. No tickets needed for the meal but donations accepted to help us recoup our food cost. Starting at 7:00 pmThe Kempter Family” will share their musical ministry. This Handmade Gospel Band from Slapout, Alabama will perform their own unique style of Vintage Gospel. No admission charge for concert, however, a love offering will be received. Hope to see you there! You’re going to be awfully glad you came!
