A LITURGIST IS NEEDED for September 11th.

LOBSTER ON THE CANAL: On September 11, from 5:30 to 7:30pm, there will be a sunset cruise to benefit the Upper Cape Chaplaincy. Tickets are $30 and include a lobster roll, potato chips, and dessert. Cash bar is available. For tickets, call Don (508) 454-2141.

Rally Day this year will be Sunday, September 18 – two weeks after Labor Day- and, this year will happen right here in the yard of our own church. As usual, we’ll worship outside at 11:00am, and by the time we sing the last hymn, grills will be fired up and ready for hamburgers or hot dogs. Please bring a dish to share. Your Worship Committee will be serving cold watermelon for dessert and will provide ice water, lemonade and coffee as well as eating utensils. See you there!

SEPTEMBER 25th, JOINT WORSHIP SERVICE AT 10:00AM: On Sunday, Sept. 25th, we will have a joint worship service with Cataumet UMC here at BOURNE UMC at 10:00am, prior to the arrival of the pumpkins that day. Please mark your calendars!

WANTED: singers, instrumentalists, musicians to perform “Special Music” during the offering. Accomplished or not, pro or amateur, adult or child. Anyone who wishes to offer praise is welcome to perform. Accompanist available. Contact Kari Fietek.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO VIDEOTAPE WORSHIP! The broadcasting of our service is a valuable community outreach. We’re looking for folks that would pick up the camera from the station on Friday and film on Sunday. It would involve a short training session by the station personnel.
