The annual School of Congregational Development is November 1 and 2 this year, again at Grace Chapel in Lexington. Some of us are going just on Saturday. If you would like to go please let Tim know as soon as possible. Scholarships available if needed.
NOVEMBER NEWSLETTER DEADLINE is THIS Tuesday, Oct 29th.
ANNUAL REPORTS: If you are responsible for writing an annual report, please have them into the church office NO LATER than NOVEMBER 12th.
Our Parish Charge Conference (annual meeting) is Monday November 18th, here at Bourne UMC, starting with potluck supper at 5:30, meeting to start at 6:30. Our District Superintendent asks that we be ready to respond to two questions: 1) If your church has one goal that is practical, concrete, and tangible next year, what would it be? And 2) Does your congregation have Spiritual Disciplines to be transformed by the Spirit? (Prepare to share your concrete and practical spiritual disciplines). Please attend if at all possible.
