The Kempters in Concert – September 18, 2015

The Kempter Family in concert September 18th

This Handmade Gospel Band from Slapout, Alabama will be at Bourne UMC to share their musical ministry on Friday, September 18th at 7:00 pm. The Kempter Family’s goal is “to confess Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” with their own unique style of Vintage Gospel. This ministry began in 2007 and since that time they have shared their musical ministry in churches and civic organizations all across the country. Chaz (Dad) is credited with the musical instruction and arranging for the Kempters. The Kempters are a home-school family with three graduates and two more to go. The children range in age from 24 to 12 years old. Members (above) are Chaz on guitar, Jo on mandolin, Nathan on bass, Chris on fiddle, Dani on piano & Charli on drums. There is no admission charge for the concert, however, a love offering will be received. Hope to see you there! You’re going to be awfully glad you came. Visit their website and see this article to learn more about them and hear their music.

This concert will be preceded by a Chili and Cornbread meal at 6:00 pm (including beverages and dessert). There are no tickets for the meal but donations will be gratefully accepted that evening.
