MEN’S BREAKFAST CLUB: The next meeting will be on Thursday, May 18th, at 9:30am, at the Corner Café in Pocasset. Please see Mike Eden for more information.

BACKPACK PROGRAM UPDATE: Due to the wonderful response we have had over the past few months, there are some foods that we have a sufficient supply of and no longer require. Please see the list in Crain Hall or the May Newsletter for a complete list of what we still need.

HELP THE HOMELESS: The Bourne Human Services Committee asked our church to participate in collecting items for the homeless in Bourne. The Bourne United Methodist Women (BUMW) answered the call as a local mission. Collection boxes are being placed in various areas of Bourne and each box will be collecting for different items. Our church has been asked to collect new white socks, caps/hats, and bug spray/sun block. The collection box is on the landing at the entrance to Crain Hall. The Human Service Committee will be collecting and distributing the collected items periodically. Thank you for your support!

FREE CHILDREN’S CLOTHING EXCHANGE: We continue to accept gently used children’s clothes, sizes 0-14, which may be dropped off at the Thrift Shop. The exchange is open the first Saturday of each month at 10am.

READING GROUP: The next meeting of the group is Monday, May 22nd at 6:00pm. There will be a potluck dinner followed by a lively discussion. Stu & Kathy Parsons and Deannie Caldwell are the hosts. If you would like more information, or a book, please contact Karen Arnold.
